Jeans and black

I didnt spend much time this morning thinking about what to wear.

Black on denim is always a good idea and Im taking the ballerina flats with me and changing when I get to work. We walk a bit more than one hour every morning from home to kindergarten to work so I leave the glamour to the office. Im curious, do you do the same when you have a long way to walk? 

Hoy no he estado mucho rato enfrente del armario como podçeis ver.

Negro con denim siempre me saca del apuro y me llevo las bailarinas puestas para cambiarme a la que llegue al trabajo. Entre que salgo de casa, dejo a la peque en la guerdería y llego a la oficina tengo una horita de trayecto, así que mejor ir cómoda. Hacéis vosotras lo mismo?

White long blouse

I loooooove wearing long blouses, it has a jenesaisquois , a French touch in it that it makes me feel girlie even paired with some simple shorts. Not to mention that good quality cotton is a must for these humid summer days in Barcelona. I must have three or 4 in my closet, but a long white shirt is something I definitely like spending good money on. 

Me encanta llevar blusas largas. Tienen un cierto nosequé, una especie de toque Francés que me hacen sentir femenina incluso combinándolos con algo tan sencillo como unos shorts vaqueros. Por no mencionar que el algodón se agradece muchísimo en estos días de calor húmedo en Barcelona. Y debo tener dos o tres en mi armario, pero una buena blusa blanca, corta o larga, es algo en lo que no me importa invertir un poquillo.

Black or white

Although it was the biggest trend when the Spring began and I honestly couldnt wait for flowers and colors to arrive, I think the black and white inspiration is always a good idea, especially on a Sunday in which we are still tired from partying in Nat's wedding last Friday night...(because THATS HOW you know you are getting old...hangover or even exhaustion lasts for a week...LOL?)

Aunque fue la tendencia que mças se repitio al inicio de la primavera (ante mi sorpresa, porque yo solo queria flores y que me acribillaran a colores) lo cierto es que un poco de inpiracion en blanco y negro siempre resulta una buena idea, especialmente en un domingo donde aun se notan los efectos de la boda del viernes. Porque dejadme deciros algo, queridos y queridas, sabes que te estas haciendo mayor cuando la resaca o el simple cansancio te dura mas de 48 horas...

Summer is coming

This is the first week Ive felt summer was finally coming.

My white legs and I were able to walk around with summer dresses and sandals and man it felt good...

So here's a bit of summer inspiration in case the crazy Spring weve had decides to lower its temperatures again (dont even think about it, lady!)

Long blouse from Massimo Dutti

This is an outfit Ive been willing to wear for a long time (meaning back on my pre pregnancy times). I love the idea of wearing a long shirt like a dress with boots or maybe sandals.  Simple, comfortable and a bit different to what Im used to.  By the way, the shirt is from Massimo Dutti and the quality of the cotton is fantastic.  The boots are from Uterque. 

PS. I dont if youve heard but November 14th Isabel MArant's collaboration with H&M will hit the stores...Im gonna go camping in front of their stores as in now. 

Este es un conjunto que hacía tiempo que quería ponerme (usease, antes del embarazo). Me gusta la idea de llevar una blusa larga como si fuera un vestido con botas o quizás sandalias.  Es simple, super cómodo y un poco distinto a lo que llevo siempre. 

Por cierto, la calidad del algodón de la blusa (Massimo Dutti) es excelente.

Y las botas, que no se me olvide, son de Uterque (de hace un par de añitos).

PD. no sé si lo habéis oído pero la colaboración entre H&M y Isabel Marant llegará a las tiendas el día 14 de noviembre...creo que voy a ir cogiendo sitio...

What I like the most about Etsy is that I can find different and original clothing.

Lets say you are looking for pencil skirts, or for dresses with a pencil skirt silhouette. You place your search,  click a few times and: VOILÀ! You might like or not VINTAGE clothing, but at least its different and unique stuff, dont you think?

Lo que más me gusta de ETSY es que puedes encontrar piezas originales y diferentes.

Imaginad que buscáis faldas lápiz o vestidos con silhueta de falda lápiz; pues lo metéis en el buscador, clickáis una vez y VOIlÀ! ahí lo tenéis. Os puede o no gustar la ropa vintage pero almenos tenéis que reconocer que es distinta y original a lo que vemos en todas partes, no os parece?

An object of beauty

Along with friday's wedding, I have a dinner with a girlfriend I havent seen in ages this week so I thought about this outfit to finally wear my lovely ASOS pencil skirt. Warning: the pearl necklace from Zara can only be worn for a couple of hours...its so heavy you end up looking like Quasimodo!

So...yes? no? What do you think?

A parte de la boda del viernes, tengo una cena esta semana con una amiga que no he visto desde hace siglos y había pensado en este conjunto para estrenar de una vez por todas esta preciosa falda lápiz  de ASOS. El colgante de perlas de Zara es monísimo pero sólo puede llevarse durante un periodo corto de tiempo...es tan pesado que acabas pareciendo Quasimodo y sacando joroba!

Así que...sí? no? qué os parece?
